Are the WWE Scooby Doo / Flintstones crossovers threads still vital?

I don't know. You tell me. Just say the word, and they're gone. But don't make a hasty decision in considering the demise of these cinematic pro wrestling touchstones.

I think they can be laid to rest now.

Considering that every talented indy guy is now a WWE guy with a good to great spot on the card, where do you think Larry Sweeny would have been by now?

Realistically, managing hit-or-miss guys like Baron Corbin or Bull Dempsey, and probably getting one or more of them over along the way. I don't think he would have done as well in the ring as a singles guy. But considering the success Enzo Amore has found with a tag team, Sweeney may have only needed to find the right partner to catch on in the same way.

From a fantasy-booking standpoint, Sweeney would be gold as the manager for Roman Reigns and the Usos. He would have already challenged Flair to a Strut-Off and made the Nature Boy pay the ultimate price.

Always fun to reminisce about Sweeney. His work always made me smile. Likewise, I always knew he was one of your favorites.

No one wanted more, more, more than D222rk! Good times.

Actually, I was never too big of a Sweeney fan. But I knew he was talented and should have been somewhere in the current NXT mixup.

HOW FUCKING DRUNK WOULD HALLE BERRY HAVE TO HAVE BEEN TO EVEN CONSIDER RIDING SPACE MOUNTAIN? This story is so ridiculous that I don't even have an analogy on hand...

I'd sooner believe it was Orlando Jordan and he just told Ric he was Halle Berry.

Well, she once rolled over on Billy Bob Thornton to get an Academy Award, so I would not put it past her with the proper motivation. Flair's 96-97 estimate lacks the motivation though, even for Baps-era Berry. And it would also seem to contradict one of those stages in Flair's career where he always alludes to "doubting himself." Your Orlando Jordan theory is more sound. But if Ric was still hitting the coke pretty hard, maybe he was confused by Natalie Desselle-Reid also being on the Baps posters... or Martin Landau. Yeah, let's go with Landau.
