NJPW needs to make a real push into the North American market. They have a great in ring product, their wrestlers look like wrestlers, established annual events, marketable stables, and they always deliver.

Not to mention, they're selling merch in the West. The Bullet Club shirt especially is a hot seller. As soon as those were announced, the site crashed due to people trying to order it. I couldn't get on there for 2 hours.

And that is all they have ever done. They opened an LA dojo like ten years ago and never did shit with it. If you want videos, you have to buy bootleg DVD-Rs off highspots.

It can't be that hard to have english guys talk over their big shows and sell a good quality DVD.

JR would be hysterical.

He wouldn't have the first clue about explaining Toru Yano to anyone.

- TMZ reports that Spike TV has let TNA officials know that they will not be renewing their TV contract in October. No word yet on when Impact will stop airing.

Multiple sources with knowledge of the deal told TMZ that Spike TV executives contacted Dixie Carter this week to break the news. Dixie told members of her inner circle the following day.

TMZ reports there's no bad blood and Spike gave TNA such advance notice so it would have time to shop for a new TV deal. Spike and TNA did not return TMZ's request for comment.
Oh that's too bad...

Unreal. Apparently Meltzer wrote that there's 3 stories that may shape the wrestling industry this week, 1 of which was the TNA TV deal while the other is the Network stuff.

So it finally happened. I don't watch wrestling anymore really, but just heard about Spike not renewing them. Did their ratings get that bad?

I have no idea what the product is like, but I have to say I have a lot of good memories from the company if it is done.

- As noted earlier, TMZ is reporting that Spike TV will not be renewing TNA's contract for Impact Wrestling in October when it expires.

There were reports that Dixie Carter gave the impression to staff last week that they were leaving Spike on their own, due to a lack of promotion. However, other sources have confirmed that Spike told Dixie they weren't renewing the deal.

The decision came just a few days after Spike officials found out that Vince Russo is still working for TNA.
Russo kills again.

This is a very touching, heartfelt tribute to the memory of TNA Impact Wrestling.
